Great question! Some are and some are not. Look out for the "Kosher" or "Kosher Mehadrin" amenity. If you see it, that means we verify that all guests staying in this unit are aware and capable of following these guidelines.

Accepted Answer

We can accommodate other payment methods. Best is to pay the deposit of 33% via cc on the site and then reach out to us to arrange a different payment method for the balance.

Question 6

Which Jerusalem neighborhoods do you specialize in?

Accepted Answer

We specialize in Arzei HaBira, Maalot Dafna, Ramat Eshkol, Givat HaMivtar and French Hill, and we also manage apartments in Rehavia, Geula, Baka, Nachlaot and the City Center. After 17 years of renting, managing and renovating apartments in Jerusalem, we know these neighborhoods building by building. Not sure which area fits your family, your shul or your budget? Tell us what matters to you and we will guide you to the right neighborhood and the right apartment.

Question 7

Is JTown Rentals a good fit for frum and Orthodox families?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We are personally involved in every stay and we understand the frum community from the inside: Shabbos and Yom Tov needs, kosher kitchens, walking distance to shuls and minyanim, Shomer Shabbat buildings, and what a family with children actually needs in an apartment. Look for the Kosher or Kosher Mehadrin amenity on each listing, and ask us anything. We speak your language, in English and in culture.

Question 8

How is booking with JTown Rentals different from a big booking platform?

Accepted Answer

You deal with real people who are on the ground in Jerusalem. We guide you to the right neighborhood and apartment before you book, make sure the apartment is handed over clean and fully functional, and stay available throughout your stay. Email us, WhatsApp us, or simply call. That hands-on, personal service is why our guests come back year after year.

Question 9

Do you also manage, renovate or sell apartments in Jerusalem?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Alongside vacation rentals, JTown Rentals has 17 years of experience in Jerusalem with short-term and long-term rentals, property management, sales and renovations. If you own an apartment, we will assess it and recommend the right next step: rent it long term as is, switch it to short-term rental, do a minor facelift, a full gut renovation, furnish it, or sell it. The right answer depends on the property, the timing and your situation. We can make the recommendation and then carry out the whole plan for you.

Question 10

What is the best way to reach you?
